Care
Hand wash with a mild dishwashing soap, rinse, and dry immediately. Cast iron is porous, do not allow to soak. Do not wash in the dishwasher. Periodically apply a small amount of vegetable oil to surface.

Love and hate my potato baker
I bought this for my sister for Christmas and used it that day. Eventually it turned out to be a great product. However when she unwrapped it ...it slipped out of the bag and landed on my foot which is still bruised. My fault not yours. I would suggest that the temperature and how long the potatoes should cook be somewhere on the packaging. I had to go to your website for the info.

The product seems of great quality, it was a gift for my mon and she loved it. Has not yet used it and is slightly smaller than expected, probably can fit just 2 regular sized potatoes. However still was a great deal for a great product

Very versatile
This is a heavy item. I does stay very hot - as cast iron should. It could also bake sweet potatoes or onions. Not too hard to clean up. Potatoes are soft on the inside and the skin has a bit of a crunch

Excellent product
I bought this product for my husband for Christmas. He was so excited when he opened it. The product has a nice, somewhat heavy, weight to it. The quality of the product is excellent. Be aware that you cannot use it right out of the box as it needs to be seasoned first. I was very pleased with the quality of the item and the quick shipping. #sweepstakes

Good Results, Item Developed Rust After First Use
Bakers turned out great in the first use, but after barely rinsing off the cast iron it developed lots of rust spots inside and out which tells me it was not as well-seasoned as being advertised. The bakers had olive oil on them so that should have further seasoned the unit, but it obvioulsy did not. Frustrating as now I have to think about going through the process of seasoning it myself which is just a hassle, UGH.

I would definitely buy this product again.
Unfortunately the first baker I received was slightly damaged. When I contacted customer service they were excellent. All I had to do was send them a photograph of the damage and they agreed to send another one out immediately. It arrived very quickly. Since we have received the new one, we have used it twice and it is perfect. It is simple to use, the potatoes come out perfectly cooked, beautiful and fluffy. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who loves potatoes as much as I do. I wish I had found this years ago!

Perfect Baked Potatoes

Hello! Sweet potatoes sound like a delicious idea, the inner dimensions 11.5" x 3.25" x 3.5", so it should accommodate medium sized sweet potatoes, larger sweet potatoes might be a tighter fit.
