Falls apart as soon as it's together
The quality of the materials is good and it has the potential to be beautiful based on the pictures and the actual colors of the pieces. I like that there are options on how to put the flowers into a bouquet or keep them separate. The directions are easy to follow. My one and only complaint is that as soon as we get a flower together and set it down, all the petals fall off. It is super frustrating. We've put the sunflower together three times now and the petals will not stay attached.
Response from merchant
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We receive a lot of positive feedback and have seen very few issues; this should not be the regular experience. We are glad to hear that you liked the colors, design options, and easy-to-follow instructions, but we are very sorry that the petals are not staying attached. We can understand how frustrating that must be, especially after putting the same flower together multiple times. We’re reaching out directly in case we can do more to help.

Build it yourself lego-like flower arrangement
This is a very challenging close to 600 piece project of which is very similar to a Lego kit, although harder. I bought it as an idea for a bridal shower for my daughter who loves sunflowers.

Great gift
Bought these for my mother in law and she loves them. She's very into small little building projects (like legos and such) and this was a great addition to her repertoire.

Unstable parts and difficult instructions
Ugh. Unless you delight in tiny flimsy wooden pieces that do not stay together and instructions in multiple languages with very few words, choose something else in the lovely website/catalog. There are much better gifts than this one; which I will never finish after watching the two sections I worked on repeatedly fall apart or break. Just ugh.

Really difficult instructions
The wood and colors are beautiful, but I found the instructions really difficult to follow. First, the writing is very small, so even if you don't usually wear readers, you may need them with these. Second, angles are very hard to decipher. My 12 year-old gave up after an hour. I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to last.

My mom loved it!
I sent this to my mom for Mother's Day. She said she didn't want flowers because they die. So I got her flowers that wouldn't die and would be fun for her to put together. When it arri Ed at her house, she called me and had a good laugh and she love it!

Unique gift
I gave this as a birthday gift to a friend that enjoys puzzles and also loves all things botanical. An instant hit! The recipient said it took several hours (and patience) to put together but the end result was gorgeous. I love giving unique gifts that I know the recipient will truly enjoy and this puzzle hit it out of the park.

Some Assembly Required....Like ALOT
First let me say, now that it is complete, I absolutely love it and I think my wife does too. I bought this for her for Valentines Day because she is allergic to real flowers. I started the process a few days before and man...I was shocked and I was late getting it done. I would say total this took me 8-10 hours to assemble. I was a bit overwhelmed when I took it out of the box. If you are giving this to someone already put together, give yourself plenty of time. I started with the sunflower. It is the easiest of all of them. I broke several pieces so it would have been nice to have extra. Just be gentle...they break. I glued several pieces but it didn't hold. There are several ways to do each flower. I didn't realize that until I had completed the sunflower instructions. I put mine into one big bouquet but you have the option to do a single flower in a small pot for each. It was time consuming and frustrating at times but I would buy this again for someone else in a heart beat.

Approximate size of the flowers? One picture shows them in individual pots, is that an option, or just a bouquet?
Verified reply from Allison
The flower and stems are between 9 and 11 inches long with the flower approximately 4 inches wide. The flowers can be 'planted' in individual 'pots' or in the the bouquet! The bouquet when finished is approximately 10 x 6 x 16.
