Hi there! In order to make each piece roughly about the same size (17"x17"), the states are not exactly proportional - so we cannot say that they would fit together perfectly.

Unfortunately, only standard wine corks would fit.

How do you hang the wine cork trap with the hardware provided? No instructions were in the package.

Sorry about that! Each map comes with pre-drilled holes for hanging with stand offs (four included) and screws (not included). The first step is to measure your map and mark the wall where you want it to go on with where the screws are supposed to go. Then, take your standoff and unscrew the cap from the barrel. Next, screw the wall screw (not supplied) through the bottom of the barrel into the wall. Lastly, line up your map with the barrels on the wall and screw the caps onto the barrels. I hope this helped. If it didn't, I sent you an email with pictures to go with the instructions.

Do all the states match up if I wanted to make a huge map? If so, is there a way to purchase all the states and what would the approximate wall space taken up?

Wow, that's an amazing idea! The states are approximately 17"L x 17" W - it varies per state. The states would match up in some sense but might be a little off as they were not created to be put together.

Sorry to hear that you lost the metal hardware! You just need four standoffs to mount the Wine Cork State. Screws are necessary to use the standoffs.
