A Cause Bigger Than All of Us
Potter and elephant lover JoAnn Stratakos created this custom mug just for us—and to help give Tanzanian elephants a fighting chance. Driven by the infamous ivory trade, poaching is a constant threat to them. Invite this elephant to join you for coffee and you'll help fight this senseless killing.
JoAnn throws each stoneware mug on her wheel, then hand carves the contours of an elephant, complete with fan-like ear that playfully protrudes from the piece. Glazed in gray and grassland green, it's a wild design that will elevate your soothing brew in more ways than one: For every mug sold, we'll donate $5 to the PAMS Foundation, which helps protect wilderness habitats for Tanzania's amazing animals. PAMS has helped protect tens of thousands of elephants from poachers. JoAnn dedicates her design to the late Wayne Lotter, PAMS' founding member who worked tirelessly to stop poaching and disrupt the flow of illegal ivory.
Handmade by JoAnn Stratakos and company in Effort, Pennsylvania.
