Looks amazing—and lots of fun!
I got one box for each of my three kids to do a portrait wall of our dog. Each box comes with two canvases so I was able to print 6 total. It was all so easy an I can't believe how well they turned out! If you are giving this as a gift you may want to open in advance and print the canvases before wrapping.

Great Idea!
Such a fun idea and the printed product turned out well. I knocked off a star b/c the packaging is so lame it diminishes the whole thing's appeal. It looks more Temu than Uncommon Goods. If you are planning to give it as a gift, I'd suggest taking it out of the box and printing the pet pic for your friend first. If this is just for you, the packaging doesn't matter.

The coolest gift for any pet lover!!
This is the coolest gift for any pet lover…either for you to paint your own pet or you can paint a friend or family member's pet and that makes a fabulous & unique handmade gift!! It is so easy and great quality. All you do is upload a photo of your pet, the website then converts your picture to a paint by number image for you to approve. Once approved they email you the image to print on your home printer. Everything you need comes in the kit. Makes you look like a professional painter!!

If I am not uploading the image until I receive the kit, how do you know which paint colors to send? Do all kits come with all of the colors? What if I run out of a color needed?

Hello! This set comes with 48 acrylic paints which should be enough to paint your pet's portrait.

Once you physically receive your Paint Your Pet By Number Portrait Kit, look inside for instructions on how to upload your precious pet photo to the maker’s site. From there, it will transform the image into an easy-to-follow paint-by-numbers design that you can print on the canvas provided.

Can the image have more than one pet in it?

Hello! You can, there's nothing stopping you from doing 2 pets in one painting. We generally recommend one per painting, but there is nothing stopping you from trying two. You do also get two canvases, so another way to do two pets.

I want to purchase this as a gift and it is unclear to me if the recipient will need to print the photo on her own or if I submit the photo prior to shipping? Can you explain that process a bit more?

Your recipient will upload their pet photo once the kit is received. They'll then open the box and scan the QR code that's on the kit's inside lid. That will take them to a website to upload the photo they'd like to paint. It creates a paint-by-number template for you to download and print on the canvas paper included. Then they can get started!

Does this use an inkjet or laser jet to print?

Hello! You may use either inkjet or laser jet to print your own paint-by-numbers artwork:^) The printed lines will be covered up and not affected by the paint regardless.
