Guitar pick-maker brings music to our ears
Guitar picks are akin to Barbie shoes. They are small, annoyingly easy to misplace, and show up in the weirdest places. At my house, we usually find them in the laundry, or on the floor right before begin snagged by a vacuum. The guitar pick maker is a game changer, or in this instance, a music-maker. Having the ability to make guitar picks from virtually anything is also good for the environment -- instead of adding to the pile of plastic in the landfills, take those forgotten hotel key cards and make guitar picks! Have old credit cards or membership cards that have expired? Make guitar picks. The most interesting pick made so far came from the case of a Zippo lighter that was made from some sort of plastic leather. My son kept the Zippo logo on the guitar pick and it looks really good. The guitar pick maker is a purchase that should have happened decades ago when my son first started playing guitar. It has been his favorite and most useful gift of the new year.

Yes, it makes a regular pick shape. The sturdiness depends on what material you use (e.g. transit cards won't be as sturdy as credit cards).
