Serhii Hrechka was born and raised in Ukraine and now lives in Palm Coast, Florida. After a career in construction and co-founding a paper goods startup, he turned his focus to handcrafted pinecone jam: a rare delicacy rooted in Ukrainian tradition. Inspired by the uniqueness of green pinecones and a desire to create something truly memorable, Serhii spent over six years refining his process. What began in a home kitchen has grown into a full-scale production facility. His small-batch jams now spark curiosity and delight around the world, including among Michelin-starred chefs.

Interesting experience

I bought this jam because it seemed so bizarre I wanted to try it with my family. I couldn't imagine pinecones that are soft enough to eat, but it had good reviews and was backordered so I took those as signs to give it a shot. I tried this along with three of my family members and we all had the same questionable reaction - it wasn't terrible but it wasn't something we'd ever eat again. We each had it stuck in our teeth afterwards and agreed it tasted like we ate a pine tree. In the end it wasn't for us, but I guess I can see how people might like it.

Unique

I bought this because it was different and I wanted to try it. It looks beautiful when opened and the pinecones are soft and it's texture is like eating oatmeal. The pinecone taste slightly like cinnamon with a slight pine taste at the end. Slava Ukraini Heroyam Slava ❤️💙💛
