What Makes It Uncommon

Although the first rule of birdwatching is to respect the birds, these detailed DIY kits encourage bird lovers to get hands-on with their favorite avians. A tool- and mess-free craft, every lifelike model is made of laser-cut cardboard pieces that slot into each other, and includes a species-specific perch for display. Adding to the realism is an interactive module that plays authentic bird sounds with the press of a button. Detailed, easy-to-follow instructions, a fact sheet, and stickers make this a fun screen-free puzzle for both kids and adults to enjoy.

This was a winner!

I got the hummingbird building kit for my ten year old daughter's Easter basket. It was a huge hit! She played with it for hours and loved doing it. She wants more of them. It's not always easy to find crafts for older kids but this one was a win. I would purchase it again!

Beautiful finished product!

I gave the Hummingbird and the Eagle as gifts. They require a lot of patience to assemble, Very much worth the effort though, because they are a quality finished product!

Challenging for a young child to build alone

I got this for my 10-year-old son who loves birds, especially raptors like eagles. He is usually really good at building things, including LEGO sets that are for adults. Despite the age of 7+ in the description, he had difficulty getting this started on this own and needed some help. Even for an adult, I found some of the steps tricky. But it was doable and he liked the end product. The added bird call device is fun. #sweepstakes
