Unique gifts
A unique idea - out of the ordinary. Two of the four looked rather similar in design, but were still appreciated. I wonder what wood this is, and what the best long-term storage would be, to keep the wood from becoming fragile. Or should I apply wood oil? It would be helpful for the description to include the type of wood used.

Very Cool Gift
We buy our grandkids a quality ornament every year. They are now 18 and 20 so it's been harder every year to find something unique. When they opened these this year, they were literally puzzled. Once they figured out that they spelled their names, they were thrilled. Great gift!

This is a way to enjoy snowflakes without the headaches of snow. I have a lot of family members who have unusual names, so these were perfect. They are a little delicate but I think they'll be sturdy enough to enjoy for many Christmases to come.

I can't find anything that says minimum or maximum number of letters for the name. Can this be done with a name that is only 2 letters?

Great question! There is no minimum for names. However, the final artwork will have a relatively large center opening compared to longer names.

The plywood is about 1/4" thick & 12 grams give or take. Size and weight all depend on the name length.
