What Makes It Uncommon

You probably can't host a joust in your backyard, but you can still go medieval thanks to this sausage-y showdown. Players face off to sling beanbags shaped like sausages (yes, sausages) at a castle-style target, aiming to wedge them into scoring slots with a deeply satisfying thwack. But this isn't your average toss game: Only the highest beanbag in each slot counts, and opponents can steal your points by slinging higher. The road to victory is full of cheers, groans, and questionable royal titles, as the first to 11 points wins—and earns bragging rights as the official Royal Sausage-Slinger.

  • Score by landing beanbags into vertical slots, with higher throws canceling out lower ones.
  • Special "crown" zone lets you steal points for a satisfying underdog comeback.

Cheap Construction

Cheaply made piece of trash. The plastic slats that catch the sausages are screwed onto the wood in six places—two at the top, two in the middle, and two at the bottom. Within twenty four tosses of the bags, the two top and one middle screw broke off the wood. Not only did the screws break off, but they gouged out large holes from the wood, meaning you cannot reattach the plastic without larger screws or replacing the wood that keeps the plastic slats in place.

Good alternative to bags

The build quality in this game is excellen. It's a great alternative to bags and uses a smaller footprint. It's been a good success at a few parties.
