What Makes It Uncommon

One garden bloom can be all it takes to brighten a corner, especially with a second garden painted around it. From Jacek and Veronika Kalich, this handmade, hand-painted bud vase celebrates the traditions of Polish pottery with bright floral details that keep the color coming after the last stem is gone. Sized for a single large flower or a miniature bouquet, it gives a few carefully chosen blooms a lovely place to linger.

  • Handmade and hand painted using traditional Polish pottery techniques.
  • Bright floral design makes a decorative accent with or without flowers.
  • Holds one large stem or a mini bouquet.
  • Handmade in Poland.

created by

Jacek Kalich and Weronika Kalich

Husband and wife Jacek and Weronika Kalich hail from Boleslawiec, Poland, the epicenter of Polish pottery making and a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage status. Jacek started the business in his garage with three artists but now employs 30. The process involves a sculptor creating a mold, hand-pouring clay, drying, smoothing, the first firing, cleaning, painting, glazing, a second firing, and packing. Each artisan meticulously handles a specific step before the pottery is shipped to America.

Usually ships within 24 hours.
