Sweets Among The Stars

Using a classic candy making process, candy confectioners create the edible works of art in these planetary lollipops. A 2D image is encapsulated in six distinct pops and flavors that are visually out of this world: Each planet gets its own flavor: tropical punch (Mercury), cherry (Venus), cotton candy (Earth), pear (Mars), key lime (Jupiter), guava (Saturn), blackberry (Uranus), mango (Neptune), strawberry/kiwi (Pluto), and marshmallow (Sun). Gift to your favorite science geek or treat yourself to your very own taste of the galaxy. Handmade in Clarendon Hills, Illinois.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

Beautiful Planetary Confection

Purchased this for our young friend studying AstroPhysics. He loved it but lamented, "They are too beautiful to eat". He soon found the courage to consume...very tasty.

Too pretty to eat?

Really pleased with the level of detail of the pops. Can't speak to their flavor, but visually as colorful and detailed as I'd hoped. They were passed around the room for everyone to 'explore'.

PERFECT GIFT

I had been looking at these for awhile. I finally decided to buy them for my son who just got his Masters Degree in Astrophysics. They are displayed wonderfully in a custom box. He was super impressed and initially hated to eat them. He finally did and he said they were fantastic. So glad I decided to get them!!

My son loved these and he shared them with others his sibling to let her pick one out. The package is a little feminine and pink but the planet lollipops are so amazing and tasty.

Description misleading, not a 360 degree view

2

I was under the impression that these lollipops would have swoops and swirls in them from the handmade nature of the planets. Unfortunately, the design of the planets is simply printed on edible paper and sealed halfway through with a clear glaze on top. Therefore, the view of the planet is only possible from one angle, not 360 degrees around. Pretty, but still somewhat disappointing.

Planet Lollipops Delight Geist Christmas

5

The Planet Lollipops were not only a delight for my husband, but were a hit with our children/grandchildren. Everyone was asked..."if you had to live on another planet, which planet would you choose"? We started with the youngest grandchild and worked our way up to our oldest son. When they saw the lollipops they were so delighted and thought they were quite cool (and tasted good). We, as well as our children, will be sure to add Uncommom Goods to our list of places to look for that "special gift" when shopping in the future.
