The amusing tale depicts what would happen if pup and kiddo could engage in silly conversations.

Belly Scratch, Please!

They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. But what if we told you we could teach your pooch to talk? In true Dr. Dolittle fashion, this children's book translates barks, sniffs, and tail wags into Dog-lish (that's dog English). Personalized with the name of your little one and their pup, the amusing tale depicts what would happen if suddenly they could engage in silly conversations. Illustrated with one of twelve common breeds, it's a magical keepsake that will have them howling with delight. Made in Minnesota.

The book asked for four names which they put on the pages grouped together which made the book less personal. I wish that each page talked about a different person.

Comments about UncommonGoods Personalized If My Dog Could Talk Book:

I bought this for my husband as a cute little gift as he is #obsessed with our dog (they're bff and inseparable!) I know my husband will like it but he'll probably look at it once and then stick it on a shelf never to be seen again. While I think it's very cute and a great concept, it really is probably best for young children (pre-school to early elementary) who love their dog(s) and read often. I like that you can personalize with dog breed, color, name etc as well as other family members, however I would recommend only using the name of the intended recipient to make it really feel special for that particular person - the other name personalizations feel a little random throughout. FYI... it has 20 total pages.

Comments about UncommonGoods Personalized If My Dog Could Talk Book:

I would have liked a dog option that looked like Tyson. It was a birthday gift for my nephew and I didn't realize when I was asked about names of other members of the family, that they would be listed so randomly and often. Kind of inappropriate that baby eden has a coffee cup on the table, and that Logan's name was not used by itself, ever.

              Cute but could be better

Comments about UncommonGoods Personalized If My Dog Could Talk Book:

Cute for small kids to see their name in books but story is not very clever and does not hold kids attention. In short, good idea but could use a better execution. The illustrations are nicely done and kid friendly.
