What Makes It Uncommon

There's a story behind Jacob Pfeifer's glasses, one that begins in the mountains and ends in fire and artistry. Each piece in his mica collection is born in the mountains of North Carolina, where he personally mines shimmering mica before melting, shaping, and infusing it into these stunning, stemless creations. The result is a collection of vibrant, one-of-a-kind glasses that capture the sparkle of nature in every swirl. Available in sets of two or a full rainbow of six, they’re dishwasher-safe, endlessly giftable, and as functional as they are artful.

  • Infused with naturally shimmering mica and gemstone-inspired hues for rich, layered color.
  • Available in sets of two (choose from Jade Green, Gold Topaz, Cerulean, Purple, Light Blue, or Pink) or a full set of six (one of each color).
  • Each glass holds 12 oz. and measures 4" x 2.5" diameter—perfectly sized for wine or cocktails.
  • Top-rack dishwasher safe.
  • Handblown in North Carolina.

Jacob Pfeifer has been working with hot glass since he was 15, ever since a chance encounter at a glass studio sparked a lifelong passion. Now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, he draws inspiration from Italian and Swedish glass traditions, nature, and his own family. A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, Jake leads a team of artisans to shape each piece by hand, using locally sourced glass and time-honored techniques. As a cancer survivor, Jake has used his art to give back to the community, and in the studio, his two cats and dog are never far from his side.
