Over 40 years ago, Barb Schmidt (Peaceful Barb) began a practice of meditation and self-care. She later started a morning ritual of sharing positive intentions, affirmations, and inspiration with her daughter, Michelle Maros. After studying and working in Chicago and New York, Michelle returned home and together, she and Barb founded Peaceful Mind Peaceful LifeĀ®. Rooted in compassion, their nonprofit offers practical tools grounded in a powerful philosophy: Small, intentional steps can lead to lasting change. Great gift
I got this for my mom who has anxiety appreciates mindfulness as a strategy, and she loves it! Quality of the mug is very good and the design masks the QR code well to still look attractive. It also gives us an opportunity to feel connected while living in different countries.

I got the Dad Joke mug for my fatherā¦
I come to Uncommon Goods for gifts with meaning. My father and I love a good Dad Joke, so I purchased that mug for him. I looked through other gifts for my stepmother but landed on this Daily Mindfulness mug - and it's been a great conversation starter between us. She shares the daily mindfulness with me when she thinks it could be impactful for me. This is a well constructed mug, I just wish we could put it through the dishwasher. When you think you've seen all the good mugs, think again. Way to go, Uncommon Goods!

Beautiful quality, unique gift
This mug is solid, beautiful, and offers a unique take on a morning ritual. I bought it for my 21-year-old niece. Normally, QR codes can be kinda ugly, but this one fits with the design.

Using daily + dishwasher safe!
I look forward to reading these mindfulness tips of the day. I've been using this mug for the last three months, constantly throwing it in the dishwasher, and the QR code still works perfectly. The messages are bite-sized and encouraging. This is great if you are looking for a low lift moment of calm. (I like to read it in the am.) This would also make a great gift for anyone who could use a peaceful moment in their day.
