?I consider myself a professional artist and an amateur scientist,? says ceramicist Jen Rose. With an MFA in ceramics from the University of Texas and 20 years of teaching in academia under her belt, she?s now dedicated full-time to her bee cups. Jen researched bee anatomy and behavior to design a beautiful, helpful product, formulating her own UV-reactive glaze so bees can see the small water collectors better. She works out of a large studio in West Dallas, employing many ceramics students.

Best gift for gardeners or nature lovers!
I was so excited when I saw these! I couldn't wait to give them to my sister for her birthday… which was months away! Finally the time came and she loves them!! They are unique, hand made and there aren't any other pollinator cups that come close to these! They are smaller than the impression I got from the pictures and they have a matte finish, not gloss. Still super charming, just a heads up if you are wanting a glossy finish. The bee vision UV paint does have a glossy finish, so there is a little shiny strip seeing the inside of the cup. Does not detract from how cute these are in any way, I just didn't notice this in the pictures.

Bees never used it
We have three bee hives. I never saw the bees use these. We kept them up two seasons. Finally my husband threw them away.

This is a must-have for any native or pollinator gardener!
I purchased these bee drinking cups for a neighbor who just installed a pollinator garden. She loves the beautiful colors and has encouraged all her gardening friends to install a set in their own yards. We've even noticed a few remaining insects partaking of the water, even though it is January. The are an attractive addition to any garden, large or small.

Wonderful in every way
I love everything about these. The size, shape, colors, and texture. And the bees in my backyard also love them. I refill the water every morning and often see bees fliting around and finally settling in to drink.

Cute, but not very useful
I really love the idea of providing water for pollinators, but these don't help. The cups are so small that on a hot, sunny day the water evaporates in no time at all, leaving nothing for bees.

Beautiful
Exactly as described and pictured! They broke in transit the first time and I was given a second one quickly. Looking forward to putting them in the ground this week and really hopeful they provide a place for pollinators to get water!

Great for anyone who cares about bees (and other bugs)
