Lock does not lock
The lock to the game literally does not work, which is obviously needed for this product to make any sense. Don't waste your money.

The lock that came with it refused to lock even with the correct combination.

Came pre-locked!
Looks like fun but I found that the padlock was already locked when I opened the box. I've not been able to find a default combo to get it open so I could lock up the whiskey. So I either have to play the game to get a code so I can unlock it or give it unlocked. Maybe I'll just drink the whiskey and call it a day.

Son-In-Law deserved a fun birthday gift

Have used multiple times with Scotch and my own trivia
I bought this for the Scotch trivia and did it with friends and it was a lot of fun. We had small bottles of scotch from each country so people could be drinking a bit while they were playing the game to get to the big bottle! I reduced the amount of questions the people had to answer; it might be a much longer (perhaps frustrating) game if ALL the questions had to be answered. Everyone loved it. I have since reused the box twice and locked up candy & gifts and written my own trivia questions so people can figure out the lock (once for Christmas, once for a teenager's Birthday party) and everyone really loved that. The lock is cheap and stopped working so I had to cut it off; however I used my own small suitcase lock so it was no big deal at all. We have gotten a lot of use out of the box itself!

Fun gift for a game enthusiast
This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my son-in-law who enjoys good whiskey, board games, and escape rooms - so this checked all the boxes! Do not use if intoxicated
This game was way more complicated and longer than I expected it to be; and my friends, who had already had a few sips of whiskey, quickly got overwhelmed. So it was a flop. But I think it would be great for people who go in with the right mindset and at least start out sober.

Interesting gift
This is really unique and very different. It looks exactly as described. I purchased it as a Christmas present for my son. He was intrigued, but has yet to play it. I would purchase it again for whiskey lovers.

Hi, forgive my ignorance but my husband really enjoys bourbon- would the card questions be appropriate as bourbon is a type of whisky correct?

Hello! That's a great question! Yes bourbon is a type of whiskey and you can absolutely play the game with bourbon provided that the bottle fits in the cage.
