What Makes It Uncommon

You've just picked some ruby-stemmed chard and dug a few sweet beets from your veggie plot. Sure, they're divine, but also, covered in soil. Put your produce in this traditional garden basket (also known as a hod), and you can hose it down before you go inside.

  • Crafted of sturdy pine, hardwood, and wire, its large capacity comfortably carries up to 20 pounds.
  • Treated to withstand the outdoors and repeated washing.
  • Conveniently stores tools and firewood when gardening season is over.
  • Choose from either Personalized (19") or Non-personalized (16" or 19"). With the Personalized option, you can add up to two lines of text to make it unique to you. Display your name ("Ethel's Veggie Plot"), your family name ("The Pylyp Family Garden"), or get creative with ("My Veggies Hands Off Please").

Care

Wood is treated to withstand repeated washing and the elements of the outdoors. After years of hard use, the basket can be recoated with linseed oil.

Great but …

I bought this as a gift. There's nothing in the description that says the personalization is only on one side. So I was disappointed to see that given the price with the personalization. Otherwise product is sturdy and I can't wait to gift it.

i would buy again, but be more specific with the engraving

the basket is what I expected. the engraving of the name was quite small. the letters ran together so not as legible as hoped. If the lettering was a bit larger, it would be perfect.

PERFECT!

Ordered as a birthday present for a dear friend with a huge garden. He picks his veggies and fruits regularly, but carries them precariously on a tray. He's gonna LOVE this personalized basket - it's BEAUTIFUL! The Gardener's Harvest Basket is beautiful! I actually purchased one last year for a friends' birthday and she loved it. It is well- constructed and of an unusual design.The smooth wood handle makes for easy carrying, and the green woven open sides allow you to see what you have purchased at your local Saturday Farmer's Market. Thank you for your question! At this time we do not offer the Gardener's Harvest Basket without any printing. The printing does only come on one side of the basket. When choosing non personalized, the basket will still say "Gardner's Treasure". Hope this helps!

The wood has been finished with an oil based clear coat and withstand repeated washings and even being left outside if you forget it! After a couple years of hard use, it might be necessary to recoat with something such as linseed oil – similar to how you would care for a wooden breadboard
