do you like fleece
You have to like what feels like long haired fleece. A bit too heavy as well as strange to my skin.

Sheds all over everything! Awful!
Purchased the queen blanket for a Christmas gift for my hubby and was incredibly excited. The fabric is soft, but the shedding is awful! Embarrassing and gets on everything. Could not get the pilling off of our sheets or stop the underside of the blanket from shedding! Awful experience. Throwing it away along with our sheets.

Wonderful blanket
This is a very nice, soft, warm and well made blanket. Plus, most importantly it allows my wife and I to both sleep at our prefers temperature. Wish we gadenone years ago.

Great for our marriage!
Great solve for an always cold wife whose husband likes to just use a sheet on most nights ! Wasn't fully convinced at the beginning how we would transition to the new functionality of this comforter, but it's smart, easy and solved our temperature need differences!

Perfect Fall Addition
The queen split blanket is a new favorite in our house! My three young children enjoy watching movies all together at night. Everyone gets part of the soft and warm blanket. It's good quality and provides an oversized fit. We are very happy with it and think it could also serve as a practical holiday gift!

Split comforter works for us
There was a slight odor when I opened the packaging but once washed - which I would have done before using anyway - the odor went away. The queen-size comforter comes as two separate pieces that are joined together by ties. This was a win for me as I was able to do two loads and wash each side of the comforter in my home immediately. I have to take my current queen comforter to the laundromat since it doesn't fit in my machine at home. The comforter is a good medium weight. I have a lighter blanket and a heavy comforter for below zero days but this is a good fit for everything in between. There are 4 ties that start about half-way down to keep the comforter together. I like to be covered but my boyfriend is often hot so throws the covers off and onto me. With this split comforter, he was able to throw his side down at this feet, while I was still covered. I've included pictures so you can see how the comforter looks. Yes, you can you tell it is two separate pieces if you look closely when the bed is made but functionality is more important to me.

My hopes were dashed
I had high hopes for this bedding set (bought blanket and sheets). I washed the blanket and there is so much fuzz. I am raking it off with a fine tooth comb otherwise it looks horrible. The quality of the blanket is suspect, the fuzz won't stop coming. I won't be using it.

Upon closer inspection, we found an issue with some blankets and have removed the defective units from our inventory. Smells bad (?)
Open this item and it smells terrible! I let it air out for awhile and came back and it now has a distinct musty smell. I ordered it months ago and it was on backorder - my guess is it has been sitting in a damp warehouse somewhere. Yuck. In addition, the comforter itself is not great quality - quite thin. Will return.

Super soft, but sheds like crazy. Worried it won't last
While the blanket is super soft and works for the purposes of my husband and I each having our own half, the blanket sheds like crazy. Even after washing per the instructions, it leaves lint and pieces of the blanket all over our sheets and comforter. It also has little balls all over the blanket as well, which makes me worry that it's falling apart. I'm worried the blanket won't last if this keeps up. Debating on trying to return, but I'm probably outside the window now. The shedding got worse after I washed it.

Through closer inspection, we found that there was an issue with shedding and pilling. We've removed the defective units from our inventory and worked closely with the maker to correct this.
