I can't seem to figure out how to open the locket. there is a screw that seems like it would open up allowing the locket to open, but the screw does not move on my necklace - I can't tell if I'm doing it wrong or if I have something wrong with the necklace.

There is a round knob above the locket. Keep unscrewing the knob till it reaches all the way to the top, that will loosen locket open.
