This item was better than expected! I gifted this to my newly wed nephew and niece in law. They LOVED it! They cook at home all the time and were so excited about the variety offered in this set. Glass containers are nice too and easy to reuse!

Great birthday gift!
Bought this as a 30th birthday gift for my godson/nephew. He was a chemical engineering major and is an ambitious cook. Using the search feature on the Uncommon Goods website, I put in " 30-year-old male Geek chemical engineer", and this was one of the things that came up. I would never have found it otherwise. It was brilliant, and the hit of the party.

I would buy this item several times.
I work for a Siemens Healthineers and all of the people I support are Scientists or in the Medical field. Periodic Table was a great surprise and win for this amazing gift. It became a great talking point during the Holiday Party. The gift was well received and the recipes that were given with the spices that they used was amazing when I tried a few. I would definitely order again and also give as gifts for all the holidays.

Hello! Only one of the flavor rubs, Greek Freak, has tomato listed as an ingredient, but we can not guarantee that the other rubs have not come into contact with tomato during the creation and processing.

Thank you for your question.Because this set contains items that are NOT Kosher certified we cannot claim that this set is certified Kosher and the individual items are not listed as Kosher. In this set the following items are Kosher but again, they are not labeled as such in the gift pack size (2oz). Korean BBQ, Pink Peppercorn Lemon Thyme, Jamaican Jerk, Tandoori Glory. Of the 12 in this set, none specifically include gluten, but it is important to note that these products are produced in a facility that processes allergens including soy, tree nuts, wheat/gluten, mustard, celery, dairy and sesame.

They do not come with recipes, but we recommend the following flavor matchups: For steaks: Black & Bleu, Black Magic, Cowboy Crust, Greek Freak, and Oh Canada, For chicken: Smoky Honey Habanero, Jamaican Jerk, Korean BBQ, Lemon Peppercorn, Raspberry Chipotle, and Tandoori For seafood: Black Magic, Chile Margarita, Lemon Peppercorn, and Raspberry Chipotle, For veggies: Black Magic, Greek Freak, Korean BBQ, Lemon Peppercorn, and Tandoori But these have so many uses - lots work well for turkey, ham, and pork as well!
