great birthday gift for a boy!!
I always try to find unusual gifts that will be remembered by recipient. In this case it was given to a 1 year old boy. His mother sent the nicest note commenting on how unusual yet very useful gift that she is sure her son will enjoy.

Perfect gift for boys of all ages (and girls!)
Have you noticed how hard it is to find gifts these days? I've found that many pre-teen boys simply want electronics. But with this mug, I found a fresh alternative to the traditional Christmas gifts! My younger brother is 11, and upon opening this mug (which came fairly quickly, with lots of time for wrapping), he was so excited! What more could you give an energized boy always thinking about sports then a mug that incorporated food and playtime, in this case a basketball hoop. With an elegant design, large enough not just for mug use but also for bowls, and bright colors, we also appreciated how "The Mug with a Hoop" was designed and patented by a young boy, encouraging my brother and showing him that boys can be designers and creators, too! Unique book for kids
I purchased two of these books for boys ages 8 and 9. These are clever books that engage kids that are a deviation from electronic games. I will buy for my twin nieces when they are a little older.

Fun and Unique Gift
At the risk of disrupting bedtime for my niece and nephew, this was such a fun and unique gift. It's different from all their other toys and doesn't take up any additional space, which my sister appreciated. I love turning to uncommon goods for unique, thoughtful and personal gifts.

They were so excited when they opened it. Three month old grandson, they were explaining to him what it was, HA. Hopefully he will love the outdoors as much as Mom and Dad
