American Valley Save the Date - UncommonGoods

We know planning a wedding can feel both sweet and stressful, but we’re here to help you put the focus on the former. The invitations you choose are like a little preview of the big day, so finding just the right style, colors, design, etc., can be a bit overwhelming. That’s why we’re so excited to announce our collaboration with the absolute wedding invitation experts: Crane Stationery.

As a result of joining forces with Crane, our product development team has made five complete wedding suites available to our customers, each with a distinct aesthetic and production details that make them extra special. Follow along on the blog as we introduce you to each of these suites, and find the design that’s a perfect match for your own uncommon nuptials.

Earlier this week we gave you an inside look at our Anniversary Journal Wedding Stationery, and next up is our final suite of the series: the American Valley Wedding Stationery. It features an artful design that’s customized to reflect the natural scenery surrounding your wedding.

For many couples, the location is one of the most important parts of their wedding day. Our Senior Product Developer Tiffany Jyang and the rest of our product development team took that idea into account when choosing artwork from Renee Leone for our American Valley wedding stationery.

Renee creates beautiful geometric-inspired landscape paintings, and we thought that her painting of an American valley captured the spirit of many outdoor weddings – picturesque and a place that sticks out in your memory,” Tiffany told us. That geometric style is part of what makes this suite stand out from more traditional wedding invitations. Tiffany describes it as “a vibrant scene with an artist’s touch,” adding “the invitation feels like an art piece that you would want to keep and display somewhere.” Another unique detail that makes the invitations feel extra personal is that the Save the Dates feature an outline of the state that the wedding’s held in.

The invitation experts at Crane helped bring Renee’s work to life, applying letterpress selectively, which Tiffany says “highlights the depth of the art and makes it feel tactile and three-dimensional.” Each letterpress print is completed one at a time, and the patience and skill put into it results in truly exceptional quality.

Tiffany told us she envisions the American Valley suite working well with “rustic, barn/farm weddings, in the countryside, or out in nature.” If you’re looking for extra inspiration that fits with an outdoors-y wedding vibe, don’t miss our Pinterest board filled with similar ideas to explore.
