My hometown is…
Austin, Texas

My favorite project I’ve worked on at UncommonGoods is…
Our Holiday Showcase! I loved working on the event, where we displayed our products for editors, because I got to hand-craft many of the elements that were used: I hand painted all of the signs and beer labels and did a chalk board drawing at the event space. It’s always fun to get away from the computer every once and a while and make something with your hands.

I’m inspired by…
Live music. I love any and all live music. Also by roaming the streets of New York–New Yorkers are the taste makers of the world (don’t tell the Texans I said so, though) and it is impossible not to become inspired just by being out and about in New York.

I’m passionate about…
Painting, yoga, water sports (water skiing and wakeboarding), and traveling.

An uncommon fact about me…
I am the only red head in my family – everyone else is brunette !

My favorite place to hang out in New York City is…
I could not possibly pick. One of my favorite things about living in New York is trying new restaurants and if you know me well, you know I can talk about food and eating all day long. I cannot handle how beautiful ABC Kitchen’s space is and the food is unreal. But I am a sucker for a dive bar and absolutely love The Rusty Knot. Tipsy Parson and Westville are my go-to neighborhood favorites. I also could sit on the Barbuto patio all night long. I could go on and on…

My style is…
Classic bohemian. I could live in neutrals and classics that last from year to year, but the Austinite in me leans bohemian.

Working at UncommonGoods, I’ve learned…
How important it is not to compromise on your values in the workplace. Among other things, I am so proud of the fact that our products don’t harm animals.

Would you rather…Have a lifetime supply of Tootsie Pops OR a one-time shopping spree at your favorite clothing store with no spending limit?
Although I have a serious Tootsie Pop addiction (1 a day but I am trying to kick the habit), I think I would have to choose clothing store with no spending limit. The thought alone gets my heart racing.
