Perfect journal to pass on memories to each generation
I was looking for a gift for grandparents. They want to share their story and we as family want to hear and pass on their memories. This journal has great prompts to trigger memories from all chapters of their life. At the end of each chapter there is room to add anything else they'd like to touch on.

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!
I have put off for years gifting both my Mom and Dad a journal type legacy book that chronicles their lives because I have never found this item that was thorough, organized and personal to each of them. I visited the Uncommon Goods website to look around and there it was, as if they had specially designed this book just for me and my parents. It is thoughtful in it's layout, thorough in it's depth of guidance and absolutely gorgeous with it's personal and timeless presentation. By being able to personalize the cover with their full names beautifully emblazoned on the cover truly makes this an heirloom piece of my family history that will be cherished for generations to come. I am 100% confident that due to the attention to detail in choosing the materials used in creating this book and stellar craftmanship in it's assembly, many, many hands that come after Mom, Dad and me will have the opportunity to hold, learn about and celebrate the lives of two individuals that are not only their ancestors, but to realize with pride that their legacy is historic.

The experience of writing about my memories rekindled the excitement of living them. The life story prompts helped me think through the most important moments in my life. As my family and I shared our stories, we created a lasting legacy to be treasured and read from one generation to the next. My family can't wait to receive their copies of my book.

Beautiful Journal
This arrived in beautiful condition, with a keepsake box. It is a gift for my sister and brother-in-law, and although I haven't given it to them yet, I already know that they will love it. I love the envelopes that allow you to place tickets, photos, and any other memorable trinkets in to further encapsulate your years together. It's also unique that the journal goes for 60 years. I love this as a gift idea!
