Born, raised, and still working in Wisconsin, Alyssa Becker's career started in the kitchen. She received an associate's degree in culinary management and was a chef for six years before deciding to work for her father. "He's been a potter his whole life," Alyssa explains. Between her admin and marketing duties, she learned how to throw on the potter's wheel, which came naturally and was therapeutic. Today, she creates her own work in a converted dairy barn that serves as a gallery and studio.
