After losing her mother to cancer, one woman found comfort and inspiration in the art of letter writing. She wished she had a piece of her mother to hang on to, a keepsake of her life and personality--and realized she wanted her children to have that same inside look into her life. After joining forces with two friends who yearned for the same experience, the Mother and Daughter Letter Book was born.
A nostalgic set of 40 cards are meant to be sent, shared and treasured until the very last envelope is sealed. Need a little inspiration to get started? Look to the hundreds of personal prompts that encourage you to share facets of your personality that family otherwise wouldn't see. Once completed, cards find their way back into the secret pockets of the book. Gathering the little notes and lists she found in her mother's desk, Biggs decided to make sure her young ones would have something to remember her by in the event of a tragedy, and that others everywhere could do the same. This is such a beautful idea. The things we truly treasure from loved ones aren't necessarily valuables-- but small personal items. I still have the letters my grandfather wrote to me in college! Kudos for such a brilliant concept!

This is an awesome idea! I started one when my children were born. I didn't know then how impactful it might be for them one day. I lost my mom to cancer 2 weeks ago and though I have many fond memories, a letter book from her would've been wonderful.

I don't see the issue with it being made in China. The item is awesome! It seems to me that the same people who would complain about this $35 item being made in China would also complain if it were a $55 US-made item. Do you want American-made or do you want it to be affordable?
