Amateur painter Aditya Vadgaonkar has loved painting since childhood. It's "a huge stress buster," he says—one that helped him get through med school entrance exams. But during med school he realized that the hassle of carrying all the materials was preventing him from doing what he loved. After many experiments with dye and binder mixes, he created his ultra-portable watercolor paint sheets. Now, a team of nine artisan women make them in a family-run facility in his hometown of Nashik, India.
