Illinois-based artist Amber Clay first fell in love with ceramics in high school. Studying the medium throughout college and beyond, she combined her training with a passion for plants after her wedding in Hawaii. Monstera abounded on the island, Amber needed a place to put her rings, and her first dish was born. She later expanded this leaf creation to include spoon rests and other plants, and she draws inspiration from greenery near home and the blues of Minnesota lakes.

The package includes an optional grip pad that can be applied to back of the leaf. This will provide additional grip on a more slip prone surface. If you choose to not use the grip pad, the leaf is dishwasher and microwave safe.
