It's definitely a more playful idea on a cruet, but I still prefer the elegant uprights. And...I have to admit, it really doesn't look like a dachshund, but rather an ant eater :)

Oil and vinegar poured out the backside of glass dogs. Even as the former own of a pair of mini dachs I couldn't do this.

They're cute, but pouring food out of the tail end of an animal? not real appetizing! Now if it was a cluster of grapes or the top of an artichoke? Great!

They sell these at a little store downtown. They're actually more sturdy than you'd think, also pretty skinny so it wouldn't be hard to hold onto.
