“We really try to only put out products that we love and feel like we have to get it made right now because we want to have that product in our lives.”

Seth and Maddy are two married folks running a design studio in Brooklyn, New York. Seth graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and Maddy in Photography, inspiring them to start an online wedding invitation shop during their last year of college in 2008. By the time they graduated, the store had grown into a full time job and morphed into a shop for travelers interested in all things campy, woodsy, and road trip.

Seth designs everything in the shop, and Maddy runs the day to day business. Though they have different daily roles, they are constantly bouncing ideas off of each other and work as a team to create unique products they are both passionate about.

Inspiration comes mostly from travel—they have a goal of visiting all the National Parks in their lifetimes—and summer road trips.

Comments about UncommonGoods National Parks Explorer Map:

I bought this as a gift for my parents, who love to travel to the National Parks. I found a lovely gray woodgrain frame, and it has made a beautiful piece of wall art in their home. They love it, and it is a fun conversation piece and reminder of all their trips, and has provided some goals for visiting parks they didn't even know about.

Cons

  • Odd coloring

Comments about UncommonGoods National Parks Explorer Map:

The poster looks as exactly as expected, and is a fun conversation starter. The only negative comment I have about it is that the light green of the trees on the map looks a bit strange with the darker green of the tree stickers.

I got this for a gift for an avid hiker and she absolutely loved it. Gorgeous map. I think it's a tad overpriced though.

Comments about UncommonGoods National Parks Explorer Map:

I thought it was made out of wood due to wood grain look. But it is a cheap poster that we have to mount. This was not cheap but is cheap looking. This was a gift so very disappointed.

    Tracking my bucket list.

    By

Comments about UncommonGoods National Parks Explorer Map:

I got this as a gift. I have been visiting national parks for a few years and hope to be able to visit all of them. I attached the picture to foam board and then put it in a frame with the glass removed so that I could keep updating as I visit more parks. Perhaps uncommon goods should offer a framed and unframed version.
