These wouldn't be washable....they'd either be one use only (pretty expensive for just one use) or just plain gross!

I would definitely buy them although I'd like to see a set of two (for less money - maybe $20.00?) since the "re-using" issue does kind of bother me. But, a set for my husband and I? Awesome! Can't wait to buy them! Be sure to let us know when they are available!

These don't seem very washable. Even though the Product Story mentions they are naturally anti-bacterial and won't dissolve, I wouldn't get them.

Amazing gift idea! However, you'd want to be far more specific about how to clean them and/or add more about the anti-bacterial properties. It seems those are the main points of the "no" votes.

I have a Himalayan salt platter for serving appetizers, and you just wipe it with a hot cloth after use, but it will dissolve over time, so these glasses are not care-free, but will last a long time. I think the price is on target, and can't wait to buy them!

Hello, Voters! We're super excited to see all of this great feedback on these fun glasses. To answer your questions, while the glasses aren't dishwasher safe, you can rinse them with warm water. They are completely organic and natural, and not coated with anything to hold them together. The shape is simply the result of the hard salt being carved. The glasses are all pink, but the shade does vary from glass to glass. Thanks again for the feedback. Keep the questions and comments coming!

I would buy this item although "salt is naturally anti-bacterial," it may still be a hard sell to convince people. I would even be tempted to (1) try to wash them or (2) microwave them because my friends may not want to use them if not "cleaned" after a previous user.

I wish these were available now because I would buy them in a heartbeat! My mother's drink of choice is tequila and these would be perfect for her birthday. My only question since the care issue seems to be addressed is how long they last. If they are going to last for a multitude of uses than $35 is a great price... however I would be disappointed if they dissolved after three or four uses.
