Cool, Calm and Collected

Calming as the sky on a long winter's night, this sand window offers the weary eye an ever-changing view. Multicolored sand and water are sealed in a wooden frame, with the northern lights in a midnight sky printed behind them. Rotate the glass, and enjoy the sight of the sand swirling and shifting into clouds and landscapes, glaciers and mountains of intricate lines and patterns. The included rear mounting hardware allows you to rotate the frame a full 360 degrees. Created by Klaus Bosch and handmade in Austria, this inventive artwork will bring a calming, natural presence and a sense of wonder to your office or home. Please note that the video above is of Black Window Art, available here.

Klaus Bosch

Klaus Bosch calls himself the Sandman, and rightfully so. Born in Lustenau, Austria, Bosch created "Rainbow Vision" sand pictures and "Za-Zen" zen gardens. He continually produces beautiful works of art based on the ever changing quality of sand.

Many would call him an artist, but the Sandman considers himself a talented craftsmen. As a child, Bosch was fascinated by science, the cosmos and stars, and the idea of being part of the bigger picture of the universe. collection
