Ed says: This coffee table has been carefully handcrafted from reclaimed pallet wood with an Eames era herringbone design. It features matte black steel hairpin legs, but other finished are available. The table shown has been finished with a light brown wax, in order to prevent tarnishing and spills from damaging your centerpiece.

This beautifully handmade coffee table was the first production here at Revive Joinery. It’s what inspired us to take a hobby and turn it into a thriving small business. As you may have guessed from the name, reclaimed materials and sustainability are at the core of our business ethos. We use a number of different reclaimed materials to design and create beautifully handmade pieces. These range from antique Victorian roofing beams and up-cycled wooden pallets to unique slices of Yew, Olive, Elm and British Oak trees.

All our designs are built from reclaimed wood, or wood that comes from sustainable sources. This totally eliminates the need for cutting down fresh new trees, which saves both money and more importantly, the environment.

The mid-century modern design of Ed's Herringbone Coffee Table is a classic look we love. We also love the designers' focus on sustainability! What do you think?

I'm tired of all the pallet wood stuff, pallets are made of soft cheap material. Anything reclaimed will be of the same quality.

I'm a fan of the Eames herringbone design and the reuse of the wood pallet. Simple and looks like the right size for a coffee table or bench.
