Crafted by Tibetan artisans living in Northern India, this garden bell resonates with ancient symbolism. Suspended above the bell on a waxed cotton cord is a lotus flower. Because the lotus grows from muddy water but bursts with blooms of brilliant white and pink, the lotus has long been seen as a symbol of enlightenment—rising above earthy concerns to a place of transcendent beauty and peace. The bell itself is marked with patterns that evoke decorative accents from Indian architecture. Both bell and pendant are sand cast by hand from solid brass, and then the bell is hand-tuned to ring with the perfect clarity and tone. Hang it in your garden or near your patio to add a gentle, meditative chiming to your landscape. Handmade in India.

This charming chime not only looks lovely, it also makes a beautiful sound. Take a look at the product story to learn how this handmade piece is crafted, then chime in and tell us what you think.

It would have to have a nice sound, be of good quality, and not too expensive for me to consider purchasing.

It looks nice - but I'd really need to know the cost - to decide if it's worth it.

Chickadee? Lotus blossom I get, but am confused by the chickadee title. Also, question the waxed cotton cord. Looks as though it would need to in a sheltered spot if outdoors. Nevertheless, the design is attractive, and probably could sell at a reasonable price for a small gift.

Would buy because of bells' tone, not just looks.

Just not necessary nor of such beauty to warrant the expenditure
