This DIY ornament kit may be the funnest way to have a green Christmas! These paintable, wooden ornaments come with a pair of bamboo brushes, and all-natural paints made with fruit and vegetable pigments. Tangerine orange and basil green are not only a treat for the eyes, but a pleasure to smell as you are painting with them. Comes with two packets of concentrated paint, which you mix with water. The wet paint can be covered and used over a period of several weeks, while the concentrate can be saved for creative projects later. Makes a fun project for kids or the young at heart, as you celebrate the season while coming a little closer to nature. Paints are gluten-free and vegan. Made in the USA.
wood, bamboo brushes, botanical paint

Adorning the tree or decking the halls is even more fun when the ornaments are DIY. What do you think of these paint-your-own pieces?

Looks like a cute idea for kids. Adults might enjoy it, too.

Good learning idea with kids but teach them not to taste paint as not all are edible even if they smell like food!

Cute and a nice "green" concept. Kudos for US-made. Would purchase if the price turns out to be reasonable.

Decades ago, my Grandmother painted ornaments for her tree when money was too tight to buy any. I would love to do something with her while I still have her.

I like the idea of the smell in the paint, other than that I could buy similar ornaments at any craft store.
