This lightweight tablet case might not actually be made of heavy metal, but it is about to rock your world. It has the look of industrial diamond plate—strong sheets of steel used in construction—except that the pattern is printed onto Tyvek® microfiber sheets. Don't let that fool you, though: Tyvek is rip-resistant, stain- and water-resistant and super durable. Inside is a soft, padded lining that will protect your tablet from scratches and cushion it from bumps. A Velcro strap closure makes the case adjustable to fit a variety of tablet sizes and brands. Made in China.

These clever tablet cases may look like metal, but they're surprisingly lightweight! We also love that they're adjustable, so they work with a variety of tablets. What do you love most about this design?

I tend to prefer things that hug the item instead of sleeves. That way the item is protected even when you're using it.

This looks really cool! I keep wondering how much it weighs and what it feels like.

Good questions, Jennifer! These cases are about 1.5 ounces and feel a bit like padded envelopes, but thicker and a little stiffer. The outside has a papery feel, but since the material is Tyvek, it much more rip resistant than paper.

This looks like a very cool design, but how soft is it near the face of th ipad? It seems like it will be scratchy.

I just like it and it seems sturdy and uber-functional.

This looks interesting. I am curious as to how it feels and how heavy it is. I prefer covers that hug the tablet and provide better protection, but this looks like a nice gift for someone that doesn't have kids playing with their tablet;)

Might look neat but can't believe $0.10 of tyvek would protect a tablet

Very few people actually USE a case, I have one used it almost never. Now if this were a functional pad cover, how cool.
