This huggable whale might just become your next obsession. The sweet giant of the sea, with its patches of free-spirited filagree, began its life in the swirling imagination of illustrator Adrienne Vita. She prints her creation onto linen/cotton canvas for both front and back, hand-stitches it together, and plumps it up with polyester fluff. The resulting creation will get along swimmingly on your sofa or bedroom. Handmade in Portland, Oregon.

Adrienne Vita's little whale can mean big style when used as a decorative throw pillow. Do you think it should swim into our assortment?

Nice idea. Maybe it could be expanded to include other animal species. Like the artwork!

Looks really poorly sewn. Maybe the mediocre stitches are supposed to be charming, but they just read as sloppy to me. Wish it was professionally sewn, I love the design!

Not sure who the audience is for this product. It doesn't really appeal to me as an adult, and it doesn't seem to have the cuteness factor a child would expect. Perhaps it would be a more successful product if it were a normal square or rectangular pillow with the pattern, instead of an oddly shaped pillow that doesn't seem to know what it is. I do like to support homegrown artisans, so the sourcing is a positive.

Great for little kids and made in the USA. Just with it was eco-friendly.
