Computer Art Clocks

Sometimes it's hard to keep track of the latest tech trends. Those colossal, beige desktop computers went extinct decades ago, floppy disks lost their drive, and even CDs exited in a flash (stick).

But many of us still get a jolt of excitement when the thought of our first high-tech gadget sparks our imagination. With a bit resourceful restyling, these old-school gadgets finally get with the times in these one-off art clocks. Assembled by hand using retired or surplus components, these quirky timekeepers rescue these remnants from an afterlife in the landfill and preserve these bits and bytes as functional art. Made In Boulder, Colorado.

Do you remember the days of floppy disks? These designs are made from the real deal, retired and overstock CDs, floppy disks, and other reclaimed computer parts and accessories. Do they have your vote?

I absolutely love this!!! I am not tech-savvy at all, but I do love to build things. My husband taught me how to build my own computer (it's pink), so I have a special appreciation for items like this : )

Well... when they look clean and unscratched. But then I don't like the style called "distressed". I find it ugly. So depending... The blue one looks ugly, the red one too busy, the green one has something odd at the top. A grey bit over the red bit? No, not for me.

What? "Wouldn't use"??? It's a clock! We all use clocks! This would be a super gift for the geeky student we all have in our families. Love.

I find these clocks confusing. They appear large enough to go on the wall, however; they have no wall mount and are designed to sit on a desk. I do however like the creativity in the art.

I wouldn't buy these clocks only because I don't need any not because they aren't cute because they are.

the one (and only one) that interests me is the middle blue one. for the right person, it would be a great gift item. the other two look like they have to much 'junk' attached to them.
