I love the design and idea of it but am curious if it lays flat against the door? Curious what can really be hung from it besides an umbrella string. I think my son would really like to have this on his bedroom door!

Crafty idea, but I'm not sure what can be hung from it if it's flat against the door.

Not sure how well these would work for me. How many things can be hung flat against the door? Also, Made in China.

I'm with the people below wondering how handy a flat hook will be.

Thanks for all of your great questions and comments! Although most of this "crane" sits flat against the wall, the actual hook does stick out, so you could use it for hanging bags, jackets, or sweaters.

$24 for one hook? Sorry. Not worth the investment.
