Erin Kinsey was born and raised in Northern California, and the spectacular nature and wildlife of the Sierras and Coastal Range have driven and informed her passion since childhood. She came to the realization that, in this modern age, we underestimate the importance of maintaining a connection with nature. While living walls have become popular, their on-going maintenance makes them less than ideal. In seeking a solution, Erin experimented with a variety of botanical materials with the goal of creating natural works of art for indoor display, with minimal or no maintenance. Erin has found a style uniquely her own that integrates her ultimate source of inspiration: her love of nature. Each piece is an original work of art — no two are identical
If These Walls Could Talk
Create a living, breathing, sculptural display in your home with this lush, one-of-a-kind work of art. Featuring a veritable landscape of rich moss and ferns contained within a reclaimed wood frame, this organically-inspired design requires zero maintenance, despite boasting a soft look and feel.
Inspired by the emerging trend in outdoor "living" walls, artist Erin Kinsey wanted to bring that concept indoors, without the need to expose to sunlight or water. An environmentally-friendly UV coating keeps the piece fresh and protected, while the 100% natural plant life accents contemporary, traditional, or rustic decor. Handmade in Cameron Park, California.
