Have Tree Will Travel

Your morning commute just got a touch of the great outdoors. Handmade from up to 35 layers of wood veneer, this stainless steel-lined travel mug offers its own unique array of wood grain patterns. Each wood panel is chosen from local Indiana hardwood trees, celebrating the natural beauty the surrounds us and promoting eco consciousness. The handle is situated higher than most so the cup nestles comfortably in most holders, while the double wall insulation keeps your beverage hot or cold for even longer. Use as a simple reminder that beyond the 9am gridlock or subway delays, there is always nature around us. Handmade in Greenfield, Indiana.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

In working with wood to create pieces that people want to use, Aaron tries to bring out the natural beauty of the color and grain of wood. Each species has its own unique color, visual texture and pattern. By combining individual pieces of various species, an appealing design is formed. By making the pieces both attractive and usable in function and form, a more pleasant experience is garnered from the use of his wood items.

Aaron uses native woods in his work, because he wants to showcase what can be done with our local trees whose beauty and utility are often overlooked and as an expression of taking responsibility for the materials that go into his work and where they come from, along with the impact they have had. Aaron notes "each piece is created with the goal of minimal waste in mind, to minimize the negative impact of my work on our world."

This was the perfect gift. It can't be microwaved, but the coffee stays super hot during the day while in the car. My uncle is a wood turner and appreciates that the artwork even had the artist, date and wood types written on the bottom in sharpie.

Beautiful! Love it overall!

Overall, I absolutely love love love this unique and artful travel mug! The craftsmanship of the woodwork is fantastic! I am obsessed with it!!! I have one small negative to report, which is that less than a week after getting the mug, the lid broke. I am on the hunt for a generic replacement lid. Even if I don't find one though, I will happily continue to re-purpose this as a non-travel mug. It is so beautiful and I am so happy with it overall!!! Thank you!

Gorgeous Mug

Beautiful Mug. Well-designed. Especially like the size and the stainless interior (not plastic). It would be better if the top seal was tighter. It's not loose but does come off easily
