    Comments about WINDOW DRYING RACK:

the wood is unfinished, so keep that in mind.
very sturdy, affixed by suction cups, easy to remove.
i can use in my bathroom/shower, on the tile for drip dry, or in the living room attached to window.
almost a MUST for small NYC apartments, and will save you dryer $ so you can continue buying $2.25 cups of coffee without guilt

      Comments about WINDOW DRYING RACK:

Great idea and super-useful for us apartment dwellers. I've used it in my shower and on my mirror and it's stayed up with a wet shirt on it each time.

However, the dowels are not smooth and have been catching my clothes. I've taken some sandpaper to them and hope this will help.

The biggest downside to this product is the price. For something that wasn't put together any better than what a fifth grader would build for invention convention, the price is WAY too high.

      Comments about WINDOW DRYING RACK:

I purchased this for the purpose of being able to dry my mittens & gloves out of the reach of our pets. I have a hot air vent right under the window next to the entry way and this is perfect for placing wet items to dry when we come inside - especially in the winter. It also holds the dog's drying towel and it's so convenient as it is right next to the side entryway to our home. Only thing I would like to see changed is to have smoother dowels or a protective finish on it so it doesn't snag fine linens/sweaters etc. I may eventually put a coat of paint on it to resolve that issue. AND - I might add that if people think this is very pricey, it sells for much MORE at another store!

      Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was incredibly fast - product arrived well packaged and in top condition!

      Comments about WINDOW DRYING RACK:

I live in a high rise, so space is minimal. On laundry day I hate having clothes strung about my apartment drying. This attaches to my bedroom window and contains the mess! The suction cups stayed put once I figured out the best angles for it. So far, I love it! Thought it was a little pricey however.

        Comments about WINDOW DRYING RACK:

This product works exactly as advertised! I stick to the tiles over my tub to dry bras and other "line dry" items. It stays up until you take it down if you wet the suction cups before sticking. It is not cheap at [$], but it doesn't seem to be a product that will need replacing for quite some time. Besides, I haven't seen anything like it at any price!

have been looking for a drying rack for occasional use; was skeptical that the suction cup mounting would work, has endured 2 "loads" without falling off; it does what I wanted; I could envision putting hinges on this to mount to a wall and make a fold down drying rack in the laundry area, too.

            Comments about WINDOW DRYING RACK:

We all know those suction cups can't really hold any weight, right? This is such a great idea, though, that I decided to give it a shot. Well, suction cups still can't really hold any weight. It fell down twice in my shower in five minutes (without any wet clothes on it, either.) It's a great idea. [...] I love many of the products/ideas in this catalog, but don't waste your time and money on this one.

              Comments about WINDOW DRYING RACK:

I bought the drying rack as a towel shelf for a difficult bathroom. I have a mirror that extends over the toilet and was unable to put a cabinet or shelf on the wall for towel storage or a towel bar. I found this drying rack and thought it was worth a try. It works great. As long as its not overloaded I can put my extra towels on top and hang a few hand towels on the lower cross bars. I will likely be putting a finish on the wood later but for now the unfinished look doesnt hurt anything. On top of that when I need to hang a shirt to dry its still effective for its origional use. I would definately recommend this item.

              Service and delivery comments:

The item arrive on time and in perfect condition. It was well if not overly packed.

It would be great if it was a little bit larger. It works very well and I use it in a window. Great idea! The price is a little high for the size of this though.

                Comments about WINDOW DRYING RACK:

This drying rack claims to fit in a tiled shower/bath stall or on a window or glass. I tried several times to install it in my bath, only to find that the suction cups are perfectly spaced to avoid getting a seal--no matter what, one is always over grout and loses its grip. I had much better luck with my glass patio door; it holds there and performs fine. It's lightweight and easy to move on or off a surface. I haven't tested it to full weight yet, and I'm not sure it will hold 25 lbs of hanging clothes, it's not very sturdy, but just guessing on this. Can't believe this needs to cost [$]; it's a dozen bits of wood and four suction cups--Boy Scouts could build them and make a fortune!
