I know this is something he can read and cherish. He'll know that he's done a good job!
He loved it. It was super customized and personal (lots of room to make this truly your own) and I'm sure he teared up reading it.
A thoughtful gift that can be treasured for years to come
Overall, this is an adorable book and because you fill in the blanks, it's very personal. There are a few pages that sound very similar to each other. Others are a little silly, like: if my dad was a car he would be (fill in the blank). Depending on how you choose to fill in the blanks , this book can be either heartwarming or funny, or a combination of both. My husband loved it. I assumed that it would be equally lovely if it came from human children, but it was fun to fill out from the perspective of our dog
I purchased this for my 10 year old to fill out for his Dad on Father's Day. He had a lot of fun thinking of words and phrases to complete each page. Some pages were silly and other's were very heartfelt. It surprised me to see how endearing our 10 year old could be! Needless to say, my husband smiled, laughed and melted as he read each and every single page on Father's Day.

Book was too small. Gave paper cuts. Was repetitive.
I was trying to find something that would help me say the things I wanted to say to my dad that are sometimes difficult to just bring up. My dad is not a warm and fuzzy man, but still the best dad that I could have hoped for in my life. So with the few pages I saw in this book I thought it would be perfect way to let him know how I love him without being a Lifetime movie. However, when I got the book, some of the questions were a little too much. "I think you are handsome when you..." or "when I hug you I feel..." and they were just too uncomfortable. If you are a person who feels comfortable saying those things to their dad you probably don't need the book. I spent about $22 getting it here just to throw it away.
This gift is an awesome addition to a gift, and often works in place of a card. Had my dad in tears. The prompts are great and really cause you to think of some great words to share with your Dad.
My children (ages 9 and 10) had a great time completing these books for their dad for a Father's Day present. It was so much fun listening to them come up with answers and reminisce about memories they have with their dad. Lots of laughs! The book is very small and has fill-in-the-blank statements about what you like best about dad. I bought each child their own book. We also glued current pictures of each child to the inside cover of the book along with printing the date.
