Give, Take, Satiate
Prehistoric drinking vessels were made from shells, carved rocks, hollowed out gourds, even skulls (eek!). At some point, an anonymous genius added the handle, which may have been the true beginning of civilization. Now: a cup with a chic, light, steel water bottle attached. The bottle's extra-wide opening is easy to clean, fill (including ice), and — with its smooth, rolled edge — to drink from. But sometimes even an always-active, on-the-go type wants to drink in a civilized manner. Unscrew the top, flip it over, and voila: a pedestal cup. What makes it even more mannerly is that it's ideal for sharing. The bottle holds 27 ounces, so there'll be plenty for both of you. Made in China.
