Relaxing. Covering up.
My friend loved this gift, said it is exquisite!
My husband gave me this robe for Christmas. I like the lighter weight and silky feel. However, the robe only lasted a month of not-quite-daily wear. Several of the squares tore apart and a few more are starting to. I repaired what I could, but some can't be because of how far down the silk unraveled. I used it for lounging in the evenings, so it's not an issue of misuse. I wish this had held up better!
I bought 3 of these as Christmas gifts for my nieces aged 14, 17 and 19. All are in theater. PERFECT backstage dressing gowns. They LOVED them!!!
Bought this as a birthday present it looked beautiful in the photos loved the unique look. So glad we bought this. She loves it!
I think that my daughters-in-laws will be very pleased with these robes. The robes are very colorful. I think the girls will also be happy to learned that these are made from recycled saris.
The handmade construction is evident in the unique pattern (no two are the same) and the stitching. It's luxurious but not stuffy. No need for a special ocassion or "someone" to wear it.
I wanted a lightweight robe that both looked and felt good. This silk robe is luxurious and just makes me feel good when I wear it. And I also appreciate the story behind it - the artisans who made it and that the silk is being reclaimed.
This robe is perfect for using after a shower when I'm doing my hair or putting on my make up. Light weight, lined, but pretty and comfortable. The only thing I see wrong beside the pockets not being closer to the hips, is that the sewing is just once over. Not sure how long it will last, unless I reinforce it myself.
