I have purchased other upcycled sari products from UncommonGoods before and loved them, so I had high hopes about this one. It certainly is cute and would add great color to an outfit. I like that it's fair trade.

However, I was very disappointed in the quality. It's essentially cotton fabric wrapped around a thin, cardboard clutch form. It felt like something I could pick up in a cheap imports store and was even packaged in the same type of thin, crackly-sounding clear plastic bag items from those stores come in. I'm so glad I had it shipped to me instead of directly to the recipient - I did not feel comfortable giving it as a gift as intended and instead returned the item. I would not recommend it.
