Magic Drawing Wand

As unicorns grow up, they shed their baby horns so adult ones can grow, which they have in common with Giganotosauruses and their baby teeth. The creatures donate those horns and dino teeth so your little one can create magical drawings on sidewalks and driveways. Unbelievable, right?

Pre-school teacher Margaux DelCollo started making this sidewalk chalk for her students years ago. She thought that if it brings so much joy to her class, why not share it with all little ones? Each horn or tooth is crafted in small batches and poured in pastel rainbow colors, painted shimmering gold, or topped with glitter. Made to fit perfectly in tiny hands, they make a fun birthday gift for ages three and up. Use on sidewalks and pavement only. Handmade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Margaux DelCollo’s business started in her preschooler’s art class. Seeing a need for art tools that were safe for little hands and the environment, she began making her own sidewalk chalk. Six years later, her kitchen-table project has grown into its own “makery”—Margaux’s word for the studio where fresh-made chalk dries on bakery racks. The Philadelphia-based mom credits her kids for inspiration: “To be brave, to persevere, and to remember that sometimes it's OK to have cookies for breakfast!”
