Colony Companions

Like fantastic creatures plucked from a storybook, these larger-than-life ants make a stunning addition to your colony. Artisans in Zimbabwe craft the design using recycled metal and unique serpentine stones, making each stake completely one-of-a-kind. When you place the sculpture in your flower bed or lining your walk way, you'll notice that the complex critters appear to "move" with mirage-like grace up the base. It makes a magical gift for gardeners, animal lovers, and those with a vivid imagination. Handmade in Zimbabwe.

Due to the recycled and handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

Comments about UncommonGoods Traveling Ant Stake:

These 2 ants are fabulous! Their bodies are made of beautiful stones! Each ant is larger than I expected; I was worried they would be too small. Each ant is at least 6" long and the stones are about the size of plums. The metal bits are well constructed and welded together very securely. My photo includes shadows so you can see how substantial the ants are, and my hubby's hand so you can see their relative size. I adore this piece.
