      • Zanzibar Chai: An authentic chai made with rolled black tea featuring spices famously grown in Zanzibar and Tanga, like cinnamon bark shavings, ginger, cardamom seeds, and cloves.
  • Pyramid tea bags are made out of cornstarch and may be composted.
  • Tubes are created from recyclable cardboard with an inner food lining to preserve the tea.

The fellow B Corp, since 2022, has strived to keep the benefits of East African tea local by ensuring that every step—from sourcing in the lush Usambara mountains to blending in their women-run factory—is done within Tanzania. Their 2023 launch of the Sakare Specialty Tea factory, the first cooperative-owned tea facility in the country, empowers farmers by dramatically boosting their income from $0.15 to $5–$6 per kilogram. Committed to sustainability and local value addition, Kazi Yetu blends rich, traceable teas and spices while supporting eco-friendly practices and economic growth.
